About the Artist
Ester Curini – Art as a Voice for the Voiceless
Ester Curini paints animals not just as subjects, but as beings with presence, dignity, and soul. Against luminous white backgrounds, her portraits illuminate each animal’s essence—undistracted, unfiltered, unforgotten. In a world where wildlife vanishes and animals too often suffer in silence, Curini’s work insists they be seen, respected, and heard.
Born in Casale Monferrato, Italy and now based in Brooklyn, NY, Curini is a self-taught artist whose brushwork bridges wild beauty and human empathy. Her paintings invite us to reconnect—with the natural world, with compassion, and with the animals we too often overlook.
Curini’s art has been exhibited in renowned galleries and museums, including Bernarducci Meisel Gallery (NYC), Anthony Brunelli Fine Arts (Binghamton, NY), Evoke Contemporary (Santa Fe, New Mexico), Imago Galleries (Palm Desert, CA), Plus One Gallery (London, UK), Galerie de Bellefeuille (Montreal, Canada) and the Salmagundi Club (New York, NY). Her work has also appeared at the Nassau County Museum of Art, the Ringling Museum of Art and Design, and in collections such as the Seven Bridges Foundation (CT) and the Eileen S. Kaminsky Family Foundation (NJ).
Featured in domestic and international publications such as American Art Collector, Fine Art Connoisseur, Poets & Artists Magazine, Hyperrealism Magazine, and International Artist’s Magazine, Ester Curini's paintings do more than inspire—they advocate. Her vision is a quiet revolution, one that asks us to look again, and this time, not to look away.
